Never laser PVC, vinyl or anything containing chlorine.
Never laser this material
Never laser PVC or vinyl. Burning it releases chlorine gas, which forms hydrochloric acid that harms your lungs and corrodes the laser’s optics and electronics.

Both xTool and Glowforge list PVC as a material never to laser.
