Best laser engravers for tumblers
Engraving a powder-coated tumbler burns away the coating to show the steel underneath. Diode, CO2 and fiber lasers can all do it. What rules machines out is the rotary: the cup has to turn under the beam, so every pick here takes one.

What to look for
- Rotary support, and whether the rotary is included or sold separately.
- Room under the head for a tall cup on a rotary: open-frame machines and ones with a riser base fit them more easily.
- Speed, if you're filling orders.
Material guides: Powder-coated and painted metal, Stainless steel.
How this list is ranked
With the same scoring as the laser quiz: each manufacturer's published specs, our material data and the lowest price we track. Commission rates play no part. Where a spec isn't published, the machine's line says so instead of guessing. Hands-on notes, where we have them, are on each machine's page.
